DJ Rockaway, producer of monthly women’s parties and boat cruises, has announced a Valentines Play On the Bay cruise for women on Saturday, February 10, 2018 on board the Bay Celebrations yacht. The cruise will depart from Jack London Square in Oakland and will set sail at 9 pm for a three-hour cruise around the bay.
“My love for DJ’ing and music is beyond measure,†said DJ Rockaway. “I started these cruises because I wanted to create an experience for the lesbian community that would bring women together to mix, mingle, dance and have a good time.â€

Producer of monthly parties in San Jose and formerly in San Francisco, Rockaway has gained notoriety by DJ’ing at LGBT events for organizations such as the National Center for Lesbian Rights, the Human Rights Campaign, Equality California and for Olivia, a travel company that specializes in cruise and resort vacations for lesbians.

The Valentines PLAY On the Bay cruise is billed as a floating dance party for women who love to dance. This will be the third PLAY on the Bay cruise produced by Rockaway, each prior one has sold out in record time. Ticket cost is $40 and includes a three-hour yacht cruise along the San Francisco Bay with scenic views of the city skyline, dance music by DJ Rockaway, and as a special Valentines treat, Love Bites by Carnie (of Wilson Phillips) will be served. Guests can purchase beverages on board.
