An LGBTQ Adult Magic Camp Experience!

The Magic Hour Club is a community of women, queers, misfits, underdogs, artists and spiritual seekers. They offer curated spaces for growth through art, activism, practical spirituality, self-care, entrepreneurship and community building.

We were excited to hear about their ‘summer camp meets spiritual retreat’ for the LGBTQ community, taking place near Los Angeles in April. The Magic Hour Club Camp is offering attendees a chance to unplug from social media and plug into self. They will focus on self-empowerment through activities of a traditional camp experience (high ropes, archery, hiking, mountain biking, arts/crafts, yoga, climbing wall, river walks, meditation). Magic Hour Club Camp also offers chats and workshops led by global influencers, artists and wellness experts including Michelle Tea, Daysha Veronica, Amanda Gloria Valdes, Leon Wu, Spirit Speak Tarot (Mary Evans) and many more. Camp will take place April 20-22, 2018 at an historic summer camp facility in Angelus Oaks, California, approximately 2.5 hours from Los Angeles.

The Magic Hour Club believes that as we get older, it becomes increasingly difficult to develop real-life human connection and that we often sacrifice self-care for our dreams of security. They encourage  all queers, lesbians, artists or anyone who desires a big change in the quality of their lives, to give themselves the gift of this experience.

Longtime friend and overall amazing person, Co-Camp Director Stephanie Sidjakov wanted to design an all-inclusive experience for people, especially women, to “explore what makes them feel closer to freedom. It is a sliding scale of spiritual offerings from the scientific to cosmic.”

“It’s going to be a giant slumber party, meets business conference, meets magical gathering that will totally change the lives of all who attend.” says Co-camp Director Rocco Kayiatos (FTM rapper Katastrophe and cofounder of Original Plumbing Magazine).

Magic Hour Club Camp offerings:
CREATING COMMUNITY: Gathering with people who share similar life experiences create bonds that extend beyond a weekend and provides continued support.

HEALTHY FUN: Camp offers fun, stimulating activities that engage the body and mind, and also help connect campers with necessary tools to connect to your soul purpose and the basic blueprint on “how to do life.”.

PERSONAL GROWTH: While being away from the routine back home, campers have a chance to learn new skills and develop confidence to find their soul purposes.
